| Few people have ascended to the vocal pantheon of the male a capella group with such aplomb as The Vocaholics' very own Alexandrikus Huvikoff. Born in Stalin-controlled Russia, at the precocious age of three, in Stalin's presence, he had a premonition of his future in which he uttered, "Stop stalling, join the Vocaholics." Stalin, always one for gross misinterpretation, heard "Stop Stalin, just an alcoholic" His dear mother clutched Alexandrikus to her bosom and fled the country to NYC, pursued by Stalin's hit-men, where he was face-grafted as an Asian to disguise him from the KGB.
No one knows where he learned how to sing, but if the untimely death of famed Russian-Asian singer Nabilovsky Wong is any indication, we can only guess at the workings of this masked chameleon of nightsong. |
